Child Soldiers

Child slavery is a huge problem, but not that many people know about child soldiers. Child soldiers ties into child slaves, because children are stolen from their families and forced to work for soldiers in war. When children are taken the soldiers will usually use drugs to convince them to fight and kill, the soldiers would cut the child's leg, arm or any other part of their body and pack the wound with drugs like powdered cocaine, cut with powder from gun cartridges (a smokeless gun powder). They did this to the child to mess up their brain, it's something like brainwashing them. The soldiers would then teach the children to do things like how to hold and fire a machine gun. A lot of times in wars they would use child shields, if you don't know what it is, it is that when the soldiers didn't have any shields or shield vests they would use children or other people and hide behind them from the bullets as a shield. Child soldiers were also used as mine detectors, mine detectors were people who used a long knife or sharp stick and pock in the ground, and if they hear a metallic sound they would know if a mine was there, they would then dig it up. The bad things about mines is that when you step on it you press this little button on the top, and when you take the weight off the button then the mine would explode, they used children because if one child dies then they would just put another one down there.
